Leon Beswick

Managing Director

Leon has ten years experience implementing successful health communication campaigns for major pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as professional associations and health technology organisations.

His experience extends to the most significant reimbursement campaigns over the last 10 years.

Before forming Ogilvy PR Health, Leon was a Director at the public affairs agency, Parker & Partners, where he developed a strong understanding of the role and influence government has in healthcare.

Leon has a strong understanding in health, as well as issues around the reimbursement processes that many campaigns often seek to influence.

Importantly Leon’s insights into Government come from a background in politics when he worked as a policy adviser in the office of then Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Dr Michael Wooldridge and as a health policy adviser with then Victorian Premier, the Hon Jeff Kennett.

Leon is a Director with the Australian Institute of Policy & Science.

Michelle Parker

Senior Account Manager

Michelle Parker is a specialist in public relations and public affairs event management, communications and media in the healthcare space.

With an advertising background, she has a keen sense of the creative influences that are able to connect with a cross section of audiences.

With over 20 years experience in the communications industry and multi-media, Michelle has also run her own highly successful business in media and communications.

She has been involved in many communication campaigns for prominent government, media and corporate clients.

Dr Daniella Goldberg PhD

Senior Account Manager

Daniella has a strong background in medical research, communications and the media. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR Health, she was head of the health and life sciences team at Buchan Consulting, specialising in the development and implementation of stakeholder communication campaigns for biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical companies. She also has experience in consumer health and lifestyle campaigns, as well as animal and rural health.

Over the past ten years, Daniella has produced science programs for radio and television, including ABC Radio and TV, Beyond 2000, and an educational biotechnology series.  She was the news editor of Australian Biotechnology News and her work has been published in a range of newspapers and magazines including Medical Observer, Business Review Weekly, The Australian and New Scientist.

Daniella is on the executive committee for the NSW Stem Cell Network, a member of the Australian Science Communicators and one of the founders of "Science in the Pub". She has a PhD in Molecular Biology and Medicine from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the University of NSW and a Diploma in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Carolyn Coulton

Senior Consultant

Carolyn Coulton joined Ogilvy PR Health with more than four years experience working both in the media and in public relations across a range of sectors.

 

She has gained communications expertise through a variety of roles from working as a journalist and news presenter at a leading national commercial radio network to developing and implementing communications campaigns for corporate and government clients.  She has experience in strategy development, message construction and issues management.

 

Her background in journalism has given her an instinctive understanding of the media and the most effective way to construct communications campaigns that appeal to the public.  She has also developed a strong network of contacts across all media including radio, television and print.

 

Carolyn holds a Degree in Communications from the University of Technology Sydney, where she specialised in Journalism.

Erin Copping

Account Executive Erin joined Ogilvy PR Health with two years of experience in brand and technology communications. She has gained valuable skills across a range of different clients in the FMCG, not-for-profit, consumer electronics and IT industries and has experience in driving and monitoring strategic, creative and results-oriented public relations campaigns. Erin has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication and a Diploma of Marketing Communications from the University of Technology Sydney where she specialised in public relations and advertising.
